It's because there's a hack in idleskipping to sync the GPU on every skip. Disabling idleskipping is one way to do it, but it's even faster to just disable the syncing hack.

I would think so! As I assume in most cases Idle Skipping enabled is the best route for most games?

So how exactly does one disable the syncing hack?
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

So disable Sync GPU Thread in the INI then and keep Idle Skip enabled?

New build works a treat on Mac Smile Only thing is that the Audio crackles on HLE, but other than that, really good Smile

Is 4.0-5293 the best build currently or still 4.0-5283?

what do you put in the ini to disable the idle skip thing if that's the better option?

BTW, are you guys all playing with LLE audio? With HLE, the sound is unbearable at times >_< I guess delroth's HLE hackfix wasn't merged to master, eh?

No difference here, just tried it. The only thing that gives a bit improvements is the texture settings.

You can always use my PR1833 branch; it still has the HLE fix in it.
