I think we broke the Mac build temporarily. There's a fix in the works.

found another issue, if you start rebel strike with efb2tex, load a mission that has extra effects like the training level, get in vehicle, targeting computer is working, but if you open gfx settings and switch to efb2ram targeting computer breaks and also heat shimmer / haze or whatever it's called goes iffy.
switching between efb settings shouldn't break things should it? you can switch between the two on the fly in rogue leader with desired results, but for reb strike it just screws things up and you have to restart the game. I hope that made some sense. 01-16-2015, 07:13 PM

Rebel strike has efb to ram set by default in the ini file. When you open the graphic settings it switches to efb to texture and breaks until you switch again. And there is no guarantee that things will work well immediately, try alt+enter it might fix things. 01-16-2015, 09:01 PM
Rebel Strike does some kind of shenanigans where it needs persistent data from the EFB. Switching the setting will pretty much permanently break it for a stage.

found a good spot on the clocking tab @ 61% played through revenge of the empire which on default starts off around 30-40 and then goes up to 45-55 as you play throuh and then full speed for the foot section.
but on 61% underclock almost solid 30fps 100% speed from the start to finish. so it seems you have to find the sweet spot with the clocking feature. both normal & underclock played at 2.5x native 1x native gets me between 30-60fps depending on whats going on on the levels i've played through so far, haven't cache everything yet either. 01-22-2015, 10:26 PM
The clocking tab doesn't seem to help the frame rate on this and Rogue 2 for my set up at all not matter what I set it on. Both games only run optimal when the clocking utility is turned off... very odd.

think it depends of ones cpu, i think the faster your cpu the better, as i think jmc47 said when you under clock it pushes your cpu more.
a lot of the stuttering is caused by dolphin still caching shaders, my file for ogl is only 48mb atm, still hasn't cached everything. when you play through a level the next time it should be smoother. however if your cpu isn't up to it then it'll still lag, plus the games are still being tested and not 100% emulated yet. |
