What settings do i need to enable/disable for this game ? Also why does my memory card from v4.0.xx not work in v5.0 ?

Everything is set by default now dolphy. And I'm still using the same mem card from 4.0 don't know why yours doesn't work.

Do you mean Ishiiruka by "custom build"? (10-23-2016, 06:01 PM)slarlac249 Wrote: SkipIdle = False for both games, big speedup, especially for rebel strike This is not a great suggestion. What you actually want is SyncOnSkipIdle = False (which automatically gets set when you set SkipIdle = False, except SkipIdle = False hurts the performance a little on top of the boost you get from SyncOnSkipIdle = False, and the SkipIdle setting doesn't exist in the newest development builds). 10-23-2016, 08:33 PM

i've always set SkipIdle = False and that gets me the boost.
does DSPThread = True do nothing in the ini now? i know it was removed from the UI, just assume it still existed in the code?

Yes, that does give you the boost (if you're not using one of the newest development builds). It's not the best way to get the boost, though. The code for running DSP on a separate thread is still there, but the setting is completely gone, even in INIs. It now gets enabled automatically when appropriate. 10-23-2016, 08:58 PM
ah i see.
why was it removed from the latest builds? (skipidle)

Because there are no advantages to disabling it. (Well, except for the performance boost you get from disabling SyncOnSkipIdle, but you can get that by disabling SyncOnSkipIdle directly instead.)
