Don't use the HLE hack if you don't want the game to freeze like that. In the future, please ask about Ishiiruka-specific problems in the Ishiiruka thread. 03-20-2016, 07:24 PM
game runs full speed 60fps all the time
but that last death star blowing up in the first level gives me error and crash any fix?

i don't wish to be flamed but has anyone been working on a proper fix for hle audio yet? also these two games still suffer from random freezes.
cockpit switching (random but can be triggered more frequently by fast switching) menu transitions cause freezes (random) someone said the actual game(s) suffer from freezing but i've tested and get no freezing on my wii with both games, which is what i play them on the most as they are still pretty glitchy on dolphin. *runs away to hide* 03-23-2016, 07:03 AM
With the DX12 backend on a 980 and stock 4770k, this game runs pretty much flawlessly now. HYPE.
What's nice is that the particle effects slowdown is fixed by DX12. Whenever I would get close to land or water and shoot at it, there would be slowdowns, all the way to like 5 FPS. Whatever DX12 did, it fixed it. Rogue leader? Not so much, but better.

HYPE. not everyone has 4ghz+ cpu. seems these performance improvements are only for 4ghz+ users, as i've noticed no improvements for months. my cpu only turbos to 3.6ghz on my desktop and the 4810mq in my laptop only goes to 3.4-6ghz. as improvements i though i noticed were just placebo, after replaying various missions over and over. only thing that made a difference was switching to the Ishiiruka build and using the async shader option to be rid of the cache stutters. idle skip off doubled my performance in rebel strike but did nothing for rogue leader. i still have to underclock rebel strike 80% or suffer 70-80% speed with audio crackling. (with idle skip on, it's even lower without the underclock) 03-24-2016, 06:37 AM
Have you tried overclocking?
