Is the game crashing for anyone else on 4.0-7411? After the craft selection Dolphin just hangs on a black screen for me. Was fine 'a few versions back', but didn't keep track which exactly.

So I finally got this to work on 7157 (7420 breaks the game, hangs at mission loading), but having massive slowdowns when explosions happen in the death star attack mission, wondering could it be that my CPU is not powerful enough? It is the server equivalent of an i7 3770.

Updating to 7429 saw tremendous amount of improvement! Running almost constant 60fps now, slowdowns are present but definitely acceptable.

The IBM Gekko processor (2000) was single core. Are there hang errors? Are there certain items with single-core dependencies that can be redirected to single-core emulation while other processes continue to run asynchronously in multi core mode?

Hello guys. What do I need to do to make the in level cutscene run at my internal resolution settings? The in game cutscenes and the ship selection screen are really low resolution compared to the in game graphics.

I wouldn't be hopeful.
If there were an upscaler that could take sub-SD quality video and upscale it to HD, the author of said upscaler would be quite wealthy... 09-11-2015, 04:13 AM
Been a while since I've tried this game on my surface but improvement galore!! Before the game would fluctuate between 60 - 37 FPS averaging in the high 30's. Now its hitting 60 - 45 averaging in the 50's. Of course this is only good for about 10 minutes of play before thermal throttling kills my performance down to 30 -20 FPS lol.
Thanks Devs! This game has come a long way in a short time.

Has anyone tried the recent builds for this and can they report the performance. For me builds after 4.0-7429 haven't gone so great.
Plus who do we have to wookie kiss to get the targeting computer working with dual core around here? I appreciate vet's like Icestrike' here don't bother with it, but for certain missions (mission two for example), you need to use it some to get a decent score. |
