The only one who is acting like an ass is you. I posted it in other topics as well (actually confirmed that it broke more things) so devs would fix it as soon as possible and make it a high priority of it because the 5450 update caused a regression.

Your right, but as you can see this "developer" has no respect for the time people take to report and test things. If you post a few messages and confirm it in other topics he/she is already pissed off.

Most devs don't read the forums much; if you want something fixed, you generally should file a bug report, not post it in as many threads as possible. Posting something a lot is not likely to get it fixed any faster (it's more likely to get you ignored).

Dolphy - This is an open source project. Devs help when they have time. You need to be patient! It's not like there are paid staff sitting around eating donuts waiting for a bug to come in. They have jobs and lives! They work on this on their free time. They will address bugs when they can, but it won't be immediate. They are working on it, just have some patience...

Btw you may want to know that tueidj is not a "developer" technically. He works on Wii and Wii U console exploits and homebrew, and knows a great great deal about the consoles. That said, he doesn't do anything in Dolphin. He was only given the title because people didn't think what he said was worth listening to because of how he is, even though everything he was saying was correct. To put it bluntly - he's an ass, but he's right!


tueidj - Please report things like this before it gets to this level. Your personality can be abrasive, and while you are indeed usually right, you can piss people off very easily. We moderators are here for problems like this! Calling us before you made post 931 would have been best.


IceStrike256 - Next time there is a problem like this, hit the report button and let the moderators handle it. Don't try to step in and solve it, it's our job!

The forum rules clearly state no flaming other members.
Not once did I insult Dolphy - the closest I got was saying he was being condescending (have another read if you don't believe me).
Then a mod appears and directly calls me an ass (and says I contribute nothing, but I can't blame you for not knowing better since you're not a dev yourself).
Thanks for keeping things "civil", mod. Nice to know you'll be there to insult people/break forum rules in the name of keeping the peace.

Ironic that tueidj was given a developer title expressly so people would take his words at face value, but this sort of stuff happens anyway.

@tueidj - As MaJoR said, you generally have an abrasive attitude, which can reinforce the image of being an "ass". Whether correctly or incorrectly, that's just how people react sometimes. You never insulted or flamed Dolphy, but your tone wasn't very helpful in your later posts. No rules were broken, so you're not getting any warnings or anything of the sort, but we do have to address what's happening here. Just remember that you can be 100% right about something, but as soon as people start negatively perceiving how you say something, they tend to tune you out. There's a way to be both blunt about an issue and respectful to others (even if they don't deserve it).

If anyone has anything else to say about this mess, take it to the "random" thread, a new thread in Delfino Plaza, IRC channels, or Private Messages.
