But the game was meant to be played in 4:3 ratio. Forcing 16:9 will stretch the entire game out. Will the cutscene scaling ever be fixed?

Have you played it in 16:9? It looks better than 4:3 everything has always looked squished in 4:3.
I also dont imagine a little cutscene bug is to high on the priority list. But who knows maybe it will get fixed by something meant to fix other games someday.

LLE audio because I'm using latest master build.

Hope HLE will get updated, because this game runs faster with it turned on.
@Fiora, is it possible to add the HLE fix/hack for LLE ? 02-10-2015, 12:31 AM

LLE doesn't have these sound issues, does it? HLE is always faster than LLE, what the speed has nothing to do with the fix.

If i turn HLE on i get a fps boost and the game runs smoother (hoth runs at 60 fps with HLE on while on LLE it runs at max 45 fps). So if the hack can be applied to LLE then the game would run smoother + it wont crash on those 3 levels that require LLE (just a guess) 02-10-2015, 01:18 AM
Sorry, I cannot follow your logic. The hack doesn't make anything faster. HLE is always faster, by design so-to-speak.
All the hack does is get rid of audio issues in this game. Audio issues which LLE doesn't even have to begin with. So it doesn't make any sense to port that hack over to LLE.

sounds like you don't understand the difference between LLE & HLE.
LLE = Low Level Emulation more accurate emulation = needs more power = runs slower HLE = High Level Emulation less accurate / glitchy = runs faster I think that describes as simply as possible? |
