Since I started to use 4.0-5390 I have tested it thoroughly.
I got 30+ games and I know all of them inside out, I tested them where I know they can cause trouble and so far nothing yet.
I got a massive library of saves, most of the games I have I have been able to complete in Dolphin before.

You can call it bull and me a liar but I know what I have tested and what I don't have tested.

YOU told me 4.0.2 was old and I agreed to some extent but I was stubborn not to listen. But I have switched to a newer revision and it's working f****** great.

I got no crashes, no errors and no annoyances with 4.0-5390, whether or not it's just me I don't know.

With 4.0-5390 I'd get a crash every time I opened the Graphics men after playing a game in OpenGL. Not the definitely of stable in my book. I told Lioncash about it, and he couldn't reproduce the issue. Then degasus found a problem that could cause the issue and fixed it.

Just because Lioncash couldn't reproduce the problem doesn't mean there was no issue, the same way that just because your computer is having no issues doesn't mean others will. When making a stable release, we have to take into account tons of configurations and computers. Hell, stable can't happen because of the bounding box issues on Radeon 5xxx, 6xxx and some 7xxx cards that cause them to drop to 5 FPS or lower in games that activate bounding box.

"works on my system" has to be one of the most annoying things people say on the internet.

@ Duke Nukem: Well, maybe there was something in the code that didn't work well with your system or maybe you just did something that seemed unimportant but fixed stuff for you. Still, most people didn't have issues with the last few hundred builds...
So, let's just be happy, it works for you now Smile

I do really like the universal Dolphin User folder. This way I can have simultanous Dolphin versions like latest master, Ishiiruka, the Rogue Squadron build and a netplay build (that one 'portable', though) without having to have a big user folder in all of them and copy stuff and settings back and forth. But obviously, it's good to be able to have the choice to have it the old way.

Let's just agree to disagree on the whole which version or revision of Dolphin to use.

But yeah let's be happy that I got a "working" version of Dolphin which is from this year.

Regarding this game though, it got issues bot non fatal, I can complete the game just fine.

I agree that the latest builds are best to use as we need to find issues as they crop up anyway.

How do you find all these obscure bugs and issues anyway? I must be doing something wrong or I'm using it the "safe" way...

I turned on skip EFB to CPU and it eliminates the last of my stutter problems using D3D. Now D3D is as good as OGL for me.
