I don't remember that I was this bad 12 years ago.

After all hours I spent so far all I got to show for is 1 lousy gold medal....

We are getting old Big Grin

You're probably right, I've noticed that I play worse for every year that passes.
I've played video games since I was 3-4 years old starting out with NES and I'm still good at games but not as good as I used to be.

Take Mega Man 2 for NES as an example, when I was younger I could easily complete the game fast and without game overs, now I'm lucky if I could beat the game at all.

Anyway, even with the car in this game
Spoiler: (Show Spoiler)
Passcode: !ZUVIEL! and then !BENZIN!
and all upgrades I still suck.

Yeah i noticed the same thing, also started when i was 4 years old.

I didn't use any cheats, just complete all main missions on silver and then purchase the first 2 bonus missions and start to unlock the slave1. After that its getting a bit easier. I made a error and unlocked the first 2 bonus missions from the empire, then the game is hard to complete.

If you didn't used cheats then you should be proud, I just don't have the time or patience to complete everything honestly.
I'm just glad I got to play this game again after 12 years.

Well i am actually proud haha, took me alot of time to get those gold medals. Most of them where close, always had the accurcy to low or killed less. I have alot of patients with rogue squadron games, it's said that developers don't create games like this anymore. I can waste alot of hours in games like this.

I love rogue squadron and yeah after 13 years i am happy i can play this game again on my laptop.

Btw: Using cheats is not fun in my opinion, last time i cheated was when i was 11 years old.

While I'm glad I got to play the game again (well technically I could have done it all along with the real GameCube) I have noticed that I'm not quite as fond of this game as I used to be. The game get's boring quite fast.

This game has the best replayability because of the wide variety of ships and strategies for the levels. Getting all golds requires you to not only be an expert pilot, but also a smart tactician. I really like that aspect of the game.

Well I'm clearly not an expert pilot anymore that's for sure because on Strike at the core mission, I get shot down all the time and I can't even reach the hole to the core.

I love all 4 games.

I could name many of the missions I can quite happily play over and over, best movies > game series out there. I wish the wii game had been released before lucasarts closed. The gc games are obviously the best because they put more effort into them, the trench run was weak in rs3d, don't remember it having corners in the movie lol. That's the only level i have issue with on the pc game.

I get the hate for the reb strike with the foot sections but they are still quite fun, but the 3rd person camera could've been better.

@ Duke, you need to go side to side, up and down quite a bit avoiding the fire from behind and stay within range of the falcon. I hate that part of the mission took me ages to finish and that was years ago, once in the death star it's still hard but not impossible. slow down on turns and then speed through the long bits.
