It has been explained a hundred times already but i guess users can't handle that their cheap amd cpus aren't cheap for no reason whatsoever, that they are bad at certain workloads and that AMD ain't a charity but a company that sells cheap to stay in competition and not out of the goodness of their hearts. even had games that became unplayable on that cpu. all advertising and no bang for buck. no offence to amd users, not all cpu's are bad, but the FX series bulldozers were just that, they needed bulldozing. i went intel and never looked back. 01-21-2015, 12:49 AM

You're going to get bad/broken performance with sync GPU on in this game, period. And what happens if you turn it off? Also we dont need another Intel vs AMD debate there are plenty of resources available the show the results look at the dolphin FAQ.

The reason Intel CPUs tend to overperform in emulation is mainly because Intel focuses on short instruction latencies (at the expense of throughput, sometimes) while AMD does the reverse and emulation benefits inordinately from shorter instruction latencies in general.

Thanks, good explanation. getting back on topic, do you know why the heat effect on the training level appears as a transparent band that floats in front your craft as you move forward? i haven't got an answer out of anyone about that, i know its fixed by efb2ram, is that a bit more harder to sort out than the targeting computer screen was? 01-21-2015, 02:46 AM

Pardon me for posting this, but I posting this for a friend of mine. He is looking to extract the sounds of this game that he can use for video projects. He wants to know how to get the sounds into the DSP of the program for one, and he said that somebody had suggested that he create a mod to the Dolphin emulator and DSP while he plays the game all the way to record all of the sound effects, and then extract them. Does anybody here have a better suggestion, or is there anybody who help program the DSP to record and dump the sounds during gameplay? Here is the forum he has been struggling with: https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-sfx-ripping-decoding-dumping-features. And here is the channel that he is on: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6Pi3JvzHSLCjdsITtoJWRg

We need a real 16:9 hack, if you try it now, it will be 16:9 but the edges of the screen will have black tiles as the game doesent know to render that far out. A simple culling hack could fix it. I say simple....lol.
