So your going to have to downclock the gamecube processor in config -> advanced.

Yeah go to config, scroll over to advanced, check the clock overide box and set it to about 70. You can change this underclock while the game is running to see where you get smooth performance. On my Surface i had to use a 50% clockspeed.

I'm playing on a 42-inch TV so I have to force to 16:9

sometimes if you have the right cpu and a good mobo you cna unlock the cpu.
x3 > x4 x2 > x4 x6 > x8 (not sure about that though) doesn't always work, think you need the black version of amd cpu's to unlock although i might be wrong. I managed to unlock one phenom once, extra cache is all i got though, wasn't really worth it. it's like the pipeline unlocking of old geforce cards before they started cutting them physically with the laser. before they were just locked and could unlocked via a softmod, now manufacturers are wise to it and don't want people buying the cheaper card and unlocking to a higher spec. i remember unlocking a 6800, didn't always work, sometimes they are locked because they are faulty. that time i got white dots from unlocking. newer amd processors can't be unlocked. intel seem to be most reliable for emulator usage. pcsx2 - black shooter - 6 core fx = rubbish framerate pcsx2 - same game - quad intel sand or haswell = 100% speed. something to do with missing instructions and the devs preferring intel. 01-20-2015, 11:09 PM

It has been explained a hundred times already but i guess users can't handle that their cheap amd cpus aren't cheap for no reason whatsoever, that they are bad at certain workloads and that AMD ain't a charity but a company that sells cheap to stay in competition and not out of the goodness of their hearts. 01-20-2015, 11:32 PM

You would think AMD, having direct access within their own team to the graphics architecture of their GPUs, could make a CPU that would wipe the floor with any Intel CPU. |
