The old short render distance bug is still happening for me. I tried both the most recent Stable build as well as pr-1880.
I deactivated Fast Depth Calculation, I activated EFB2RAM, I tried both D3D and OGL, I tried "Skip EFB Access", I tried Enable XFB, none of them changed this specific problem. For any graphic programmer that helps with the Dolphin emulation, could you please clarify this article for me? Especially Method 11 with respect to custom dithering. Is this article suggesting that the GC will always output a dithered pattern for textures (for example, Rogue Leader has terrible dithering on the Hoth level for the skybox), or is it possible for me to override the dithered pattern?

Yeah. I might fiddle with some high-res skybox textures on Hoth to see if it changes anything. 01-18-2015, 08:30 PM
I decided to try lle again, get almost full speed on the current build, was hesitant of trying it since previous builds had loads of lag. should be good till hle is fixed
icestrike, i completed hoth on lle without the beeeeep crash, must of been a glitch. |
