Just finished testing Asteroid field. with HLE crashes with the Bleeeeeep noise you described. With LLE ran perfect for me and I even got a silver medal lol.

guess its another level we need the HLE fix for.

Hi all,

Just new here and wanted to say thanks for the awesome emulator! been waiting for years to get this game to work haha. So far rogue leader is working great (mostly 50-60fps). Got all medals on silver but getting them on gold is really hard (managed to get 2 gold medals) and no i didn't use any cheat codes.

People with the crashes @ level 1. Disable HLE audio and use the LLE. If that does not work delete the entire dolphine folder in your documents folder and use the settings i posted.

My system (laptop): Windows 7 64-bit
Intel Core i7-2720QM
Geforce GTX 485M
8GB ram

opengl is faster than direct3d for the rogue squadron games, have you tried it?

Unless you use AMD then Open GL is not faster than Direct 3D.

Edit: ok my card apparently doesn't work with Open GL at all now hmm.

I've found that OpenGL works the best overall for Dolphin. D3D may have slightly better quality graphics (ie LOZTP area maps), but it has random freezes for a brief few milliseconds here and there. Gets really annoying. I prefer constant speed over slightly better graphics. That allows me to up my IR and AA so it looks great anyway.

Nvidia cards are recommended to use Open GL.
AMD cards are recommended to use D3D.
