+1, apart from PS3/vita titles, rs2 is the last game I need to make sure I have a PC version of all the games I own that I would like to play again. Will be a very happy person when this one works

Just an FYI for Neobrain and perhaps Galop1n, I've just played through to the end of the Battle of Hoth using z-freeze 3.5-1729 and the symbols where you switch from the speeder to the x-wing do not appear. Otherwise the hack works well albeit slow

PS. I REALLY hope they make a HD remake of this one for Wii U!!!!

Yeeeaaaa sure. Factor 5 doesn't exist anymore (and hasn't for a long time now). Lucasarts doesn't exist anymore. Even Lucasfilm is owned by Disney, giving them control over the entire franchise. Everything associated with this game is different now. There's no one left to make a sequel, if anyone made another Rogue Squadron, it would be an entirely different game made by an entirely different team using the same name as the existing game. Considering Disney is hiring EA to make Star Wars games... I don't think you really want that to happen.

I'm not sure how that works Major, Nintendo released the game didn't they? Do they own the rites to the game or do Factor 5?

Did Disney buy the rites to all of the old IP of factor 5?

I know if you go to the lucasArts site now owned by Disney, it states that Rogue Squadron is unsupported, along with a long list of other titles. Is it now abandonware or something similar?

Disney own the rites to new star wars IP's and licence them out to people like Dice. If the game has already been released, who owns the rites to that work?

Back on topic though.
This was a GC release title. It's the whole reason I own a Gamecube. Didn't get into Luigi's Mansion back then and Sunshine was cool but no SM64.

Any assistance I can give in the development of the GC release title I will gladly offer.

Given this was a Gamecube release title responsible for many sales of the console, I respectfully request the developers to get it playable on the emulator instead of making other games run perfectly.

Given that Major is in the same boat as me and do not want Disney to ruin this franchise, I ask people wether or not this game should be made playable for generations to come?
