If they are required, then It would be a simple matter of stretching some textures inward, for the most part. Dealing with the thrusters would be problematic, I think.

To get this back on topic. I seem to be unable to complete the first Deathstar level now that I'm using the build with the correct HLE audio. I get a crash right before the explosion. I'll re download the build again, just in case the problem is on my end.

I had the same problem here, thought it was incidental but seems it is not.

It is meant to put it somewhere between the two values, the middle and the left. It should be faster than the left one that fixes the targeting computer.

Exactly the same problem here; I'm glad it's not just me.

All that I know about the problem is that it appears to end up in a function that memsets a huge chunk of memory, then jumps to an invalid instruction and dies.

Have you tried with lle audio to see if the hle audio hack is to blame? I don't remember that happening before.

That's what I suspect; haven't tried it yet though with LLE.

I noticed a looong time ago that the mission previews (the little videos shown while the briefing is read out) seem to have been recorded using a hack similar to the widescreen patch - the glow of the ship engines is misplaced in exactly the same way. Did they plan on natively supporting widescreen but scrapped it for some reason (most likely hardware limitations)?

Has enyone tested this game using the wiiu gamecube adapter?

Hi everyone, I decided to make the 'original trilogy', rogue squadron style (it's still a draft). Many thanks to the developers here who made that happen. The video is currently unlisted due to copyright claims from youtube, so I am in the midst of disputing that. Especially note the editing I did between Darth Vader and Luke on the trench run, I made it more movie-style. Enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R82e_SeNRsc

Edit: make sure you use Chrome and run it @ 720p60, or higher, in order to view it in full 60 fps.

Hey, if 16:9 worked without artifacts, then obviously I would have recorded in 16:9! Wink

Then again, the movie scenes would still be stretched, so in that respect, I would have to manually insert Blu-Ray content and time it exactly with the editing done by Factor 5, but I can't be bothered.
