Edit: Yeah after lowering my IR I get full speed with EFB to Texture. and my Vid is what happens when I use EFB to RAM on the same settings.  Video is still uploading.

I also don't think LLe audio has bugs as much as the low FPS messing things up.

Seems like the slowdown has something to do with the water splash effects. Rewatch the video. Whenever the Ties come by and shoot the water, the game slows down.

Yeah after I lowered my IR and went back to EFB to Texture it plays just like it did on my Gamecube. Considering the minor graphics bugs Texture gives I think its worth it for full speed until it can be optimized. Now I feel like making a full let's play video Smile

Hey, no, the lets-play at 1080p was my idea! lol. Mind posting a video of the game at 16:9? Big Grin

Lol indeed it was. I don't like this game in 16:9 because of the bloom offset very distracting Ill make a quick vid to show you. Oh yeah I also forgot about the ground disappearing at the 4:3 screen limit

I had 5 minutes to test Fioras build before I went to work this morning and it did seem faster to me, less glitching between scenes mostly and it could be totally unrelated but I fired up F-zero and it was doing this weird thing where it would start and keep going back to the sega logo like it was resetting over and over. Admittedly, I haven't done any research into this, it may already be known and nothing to do with this, but I thought it was at least worth mentioning.

The constant resetting is a known issue in dual core mode, I think.

Ok great to know Fiora, thanks. Err, you know that saying about how people are ungrateful and they just want more? I mean, I don't know it, but I'm sure there is one.

So, my question is to, I guess anyone working on the zfreeze build or Dolphin VR build, is there a way to turn off-screen culling off? I like to play certain games at 5760x1080 and now that RS2 is working it would be great if it was possible to cover the whole screen with the surface, right now it feels like I have a 90 degree view of the main action, with the edges popping in and out according to where they would be on the original console.

So I'm just wondering if it's possible, Or are there technical limitations that can't be overcome to achieve this?

finally managed to get 60 FPS with EFB to RAM turned on had to drop IR down to 2. This game requires some serious GPU horsepower.

Updated my build link (Download) with a little hacky fix from delroth that makes HLE audio work in both Rogue Squadron games.

I'm not really sure; I don't know enough about graphics (or RS's engine in particular) to say so.

HLE is still not working right for me. Garbled audio with it on. And I can't really say either of the games are really playable when the screen is cut off making it pretty impossible to complete levels.

Did you redownload it? I just downloaded the latest build from that link and HLE works in both RS games. What do you mean by the screen being "cut off"? I've completed multiple levels without any problems...
