I have no idea what's going wrong or what you're doing wrong.

Fixing it further is beyond me. Can you try latest master and see if the targeting computer works for you?

figured it out, needed to clean my dolphin folder and then unpack the new build, now everything is working as it should Wink
guess i shouldn't just overwrite stuff in the future and just delete previous release and unpack new one.

what's next on the list? speed? music? btw what does music come under in these games? is that mmu related or separate altogether?

edit,

pause menu glitches unless i set efb2ram & safe tex cache but this reduces quite a bit. (opengl) haven't tested on d3d.
fps on pause menu 300+

training level, sky isn't rendered correctly unless efb2ram

got a new error i haven't see before;

fifo is overflowed by gatherpipe! cpu thread is too fast. clicking to continue gets rid of it and game continues just fine.

tested pause menu on d3d it works and doesn't glitch with high fps like on ogl. but opening gfx options still breaks the menu until you restart the game. i know, i know, don't open gfx settings when game is running. could that be fixed? i think it was mentioned to be a XFB issue as virtual & real corrects it but fps drop.

current list of issues:

menus spaz out if you open gfx settings window, d3d & ogl

pause menu spazs in ogl if efb2texture is on

efb2bram needed for targeting computer screen to not be corrupt but slows game down a fair bit in places

garbled music in hle. lle needed for semi decent music

sky not rendered correctly on some levels, most noticeable on training level, efb2ram fixes it but slow game down quite a lot, especially when you fly over the buildings or destroy some

I would love if someone could post some game play or pictures using the most recent build, just for eye candy. Currently traveling, but once im back on my home PC(4770k, AMD 7970) i will definitely be giving this a try.

Is the audio good enough for a YouTube "lets-play"?

slarlac: You can't keep messing with settings as you play it and expect everything to be perfect. Let me try to be perfectly, 100% clear on the behaviors. If your computer isn't fast enough for whatever features are needed; there's nothing else we can do.

Virtual XFB: Main Menu, Save Select, Pause Menus.
EFB2RAM: A lot of special effects (missile trails, dust, skyboxes), Distance Fog?, Targeting Computer, Some Transitions are garbage without it.
SafeTextureCache: Targeting Computer Smoothness
LLE Audio: Music. Can use HLE audio if you mute the music.

I wonder how a 3258 at 4.2GHz will handle it. If it turns out well I'll upload a video for everyone.

i know these games are still pretty glitchty. I'm just pointing out various issues for those thinking of playing these games.
atm they are best played on a real gc or wii.

It's not glitchy if you're overriding needed settings. Trust me, they have lots of unsolved problems, but you don't need to make more by overriding the settings it does have by default and ignoring even more settings that we say fix the issues Tongue.

Anyway, we'll have the wiki updated once everything is merged, so be sure to report all behaviors Smile
