just thought i'd mention something, been emailing and tweeting all and any disney / lucasfilm contacts i could find online, to see if permission to share the cancelled wii could be granted and then passed on to LtRoyalShrimp, but no surprise, no response to any of it.

well i got one reply but it was a stupid generic response from some goon at lucasfilm who thought i wanted permission to use clips of a game for something.......

guess the hunt continues.

Has everyone fixed the Hang on Pause or Targeting Computer problem yet? I have looked everywhere on the Internet and still no official solution yet.

Running on Dolphin 5.0 and the latest dev versions.

For the life of me, I can't get this game to run decently. No matter the settings I use or don't use. I used these settings I found posted on the Dolphin subreddit but they don't seem to help much. They are from a year ago though, when the person recommended them to someone else having trouble.

Enabled Options:
Config - General:
JIT Recompiler
Enable Dual Core
Enable Idle Skipping

Config - Audio:
DSP LLE recompiler
Graphics - General:
Direct3D

Graphics - Hacks:
Skip EFB Access from CPU
Ignore Format Changes
Store EFB Copies to Texture Only
External Frame Buffer (XFB) - Virtual

Disabled Options:
Fast Depth Calculation

I know RSII is fairly demanding, but I feel that my rig should be sufficient enough to run it (GTX 970 SC, i7 4770 3.9 GHz). Explosions in particular will drop frames, such as when destroying the towers in the first mission. But sometimes just flying around in the training mission will cause real bad lag. Any advice?

What version of dolphin are you using? Dolphin has auto set all the needed options for quite a while.

And just as an FYI my 4790k at 4.9ghz can't keep 60fps on this game anymore.

Do you have Soul Calibur 2 loaded by any chance? Because the latest Dolphin revisions run the game at ~45 fps, and never at 60 fps. Furthermore, have you noticed graphical / texture corruption of the lasers, the radar, or the lock on symbols?

5.0, the latest. Game just doesn't run smooth at all. I've seen some other YouTubers run the game pretty smoothly with significantly weaker rigs than my own.

5.0 is a lot more demanding for RS than older 4.0 builds which most videos were made on. They also might be utilizing the GameCube underclock feature. To keep performance up.

And I'll need to test soul Calibur han. I also haven't touched RS since the performance drop I'm getting a 7700k on Monday and was gonna see how far I can push it for RS Tongue
