tried it but all the speed improvements seems to have vanished making it unplayable.

pause and camera are working ok, the speed is good but the graphics are messed up

looks like it's missing the zfreeze hack/fix. edit, your right, it's completely messed up...Sad

i'm getting fullspeed on rebel strike now with LLE OpenAL & latency 10 on the 1767 zfreeze build.
but i would be nice to have a working pause menu on RS2.


if someone can put the pause menu / targeting computer fixes into a build but not mess up the visuals or break the fps that will be awesome. come on dolphin elfs, work some christmas magic Smile

full speed seems hit and miss in rebel strike in lle, on detail heavy levels the fps drop to 40's which results in audio lag. plays great on hle though, with muted audio of course.

someone said rebel strike is more taxing than rogue leader.

Again, go into the options in HLE, and mute the music only. The rest of the audio works fine.

I (unintentionally) violated GPL by releasing a build without linking to the source code last time (my PR wasn't up yet, and the logs were left enabled, which aren't in my PR) so I'm making sure I do everything right this time. Along with testing it.

i await the outcome. in the meantime i've been playing the original game, managed to get it working on windows 8, got a fixed exe that solves issues with new machines, said it wouldn't work on new systems with nvidia cards but it works perfectly, runs in with black bars 4:3 but plays fine.

if anyone's interested i can upload it somewhere (the fixed exe), the fix came with with the whole game (v1.3 us copies only) uk is v1.2. battle for naboo works on windows 8 as well Smile
nglide works on rs3d for voodoo support but you get a camera bug where your craft slowly goes into the distance. d3d is unaffected.
