Question: How would a digital dump of a game break!?

The first dump was probably bad and corrupted in some way.

if any devs are viewing this thread, could someone please look into "store efb copies to texture only" not working with this game.

it always breaks heat shimmer and missile trails.

on = 50-60fps training level
off = 20-60fps training level

it's the only level i get lots of lag on.

pretty please? hug hug kiss kiss wink wink

I was testing this game on an AMD A10-7850K OCed to 4.5GHZ and was actually surprised at how well it ran with LLE audio and default settings 45~53FPS.

yeah it runs great on LLE, i just wish the efb to texture option was fixed so those of us with non 4ghz processors could play the training level full speed with no visual glitches.

on my i5 3570k i get very random fps on the training level, and as i've said many times, efb2texture breaks various visual effects. so i just play it with efb 2 ram to get unbroken visual effects.
just when i start shooting buildings my fps goes up and down and the game stutter Sad

what i find annoying is the much busier levels run 100% smooth though, i guess the heat shimmer is a resource hog.

Umm, I know you want it fixed, but if it uses the framebuffer, it can't work in EFB2Tex. Literally impossible.

Because it didn't offer much speedup and under certain conditions it could be either slower or cause texture corruption.
