Another help I found in RS2/3 as of late is enabling "Progressive Scan" in the graphics settings. It made the game run much smoother even if it said I was getting 60fps. Seems like a few months ago the game started getting really laggy, but that ended up being the fix for me.

I will certainly have to try out the idleskip option too and see if I can get RS3 running smoothly. Smile

That's strange. RS2/3 were a few of the early games to support progressive scan, and it should be enabled by default in the game itself.

That's strange. RS2/3 were a few of the early games to support progressive scan, and it should be enabled by default in the game itself.

I had to enable it in the Dolphin settings for it to work. Once I did that and opened up the majority of my games, first thing a window would pop up and ask if I wanted to enable progressive scan in game, then go on into the game. RS2/3 are the only ones that made a significant difference.

Like I mentioned, for some reason I didn't have this problem before until a few months ago and they started getting bad laggy. Must've been a change in the releases to where now i have to enable progressive scan manually?

might EFBToTextureEnable = True be fixed at some point so it;

doesn't disable certain effects ?

rebel strike works fine with EFBToTextureEnable = True and the same effects do not get disabled.

the only way to get the missing effects is to have on false but that results in a big fps drop, even though vps is 100%. might this be an easier thing to resolve compared to the hle thing?
game will be pretty much perfect if the efb thing is fixed.

@ Han: I actually have an extremely different experience with those ini entries. I'm not sure which one(s) make the difference, I think it was mostly the SyncOnSkipIdle = False

SkipIdle = False is the one that give a nice boost. ignore the other option, didn't make any difference when i turned them both off.

Hello guys,
I use a french version of the game and there's obviously accents like é, è and such. Problem is, they are not taken in account by the game and I have a hard time figuring out how to change the encoding of the game or something. Anybody has an idea about this? Thanks.
I already put the gamecube emulator language to french.

You mean characters like é don't look correct inside the game? I don't think any Dolphin settings will affect that.
