never experience any fps loss on imp heist mission or the beginning of hoth, but i don't use lle. will test on rs2 to see if it does anything with lle.

idle skip off helps with rs3 mostly.

I'm trying to play this game with Dolphin 4.0-8329

What are the best settings to use for this game?  I'm lagging quite a bit.  I know this game is demanding, and I did read the Wiki, but I wouldn't think my computer would have a problem running this game.  Here's a screenshot of my current settings:

Is there something I'm missing?

Edit the ini file for the game (right-click, properties, edit config) and put this in there:

[core]
SyncOnSkipIdle = False
FastDiscSpeed = True
[Video_Settings]
SafeTextureCacheColorSamples = 128
[DSP]
EnableJIT = True
DSPThread = True
[Video_Hacks]
EFBToTextureEnable = True
EFBEmulateFormatChanges = True

(it might be that some of it is not necessary anymore but it works perfectly for me)
More importantly, though, you should choose HLE audio... and to not get issues with that you would have to use Dolphin Ishiiruka and enable the hack you'll find in the audio settings there.
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

Thanks! It is definitely working a little better now. Still a bit laggy in spots, but certainly playable. Looks so much better emulated on my PC than on my Wii.

What actually is the name of the game's config as I cannot seem to find it in the gamesettings folder.

Right click on the game in the list, and choose "Properties".

Then on the bottom left, click on "Edit Config".

To be honest, I have never used the custom ini. I find that a set standard settings in the main menu is sufficient.
