Rogue Leader uses an slightly older/different version of the AX ucode that Dolphin's HLE doesn't fully support, and nobody's fixed it yet.

So I just don't get it. After trying everything mentioned above I still experience the same issue.

Basically, if I load the training mission and fly around, the game runs fairly smooth. However, the second I shoot my cannons and the laser bolts hit the ground, the game drops to about 1-5 FPS. Surely someone else has had this issue. Overall the game seems pretty playable outside of this issue, however since you can't play through the game without firing your lasers, that makes the game virtually unplayable. Whether I play on HLE or LLE, underclock to 50% or leave that alone, modify the IR to 1x set auto, or make it 4x - the result is the same.

Any insight on the above problem would be greatly appreciated.

What are your computer specs, what build number are you using and what are your settings? I personally have never experience said issue.

Hey man, my specs are in my signature. The build I'm currently using is the latest dev version (4.0 - 6266). The settings as I said before don't seem to matter (at least with the issue in question). I'll link a few screenshots of what I have everything set at though:

Crossfire/SLI doesn't work with Dolphin, IIRC. Have you tried not forcing it on?

Yeah, for that exact reason I have it currently disabled.

You have XFB forced off, but the game (if I recall) has XFB=true in its settings; have you tried resetting your Dolphin settings to defaults?

I can try that - but as I've said I've tried XFB both off and on. If someone that has the game running smoothly could post screenshots similar to how I did that would be greatly appreciated. I just want to make sure I'm working off the same version and setup others are using to rule out a configuration/settings issue.
