Thanks for the help guys! Had a busy weekend so I couldn't test anything, but I will give it another go tonight. I own a GC but don't have a bios file so I'll have to sort that out first. Hopefully I can "borrow" it from somewhere online.

This will be fixed soon. Turns out RS2 doesn't calibrate the controls on bootup. We made the calibration more accurate, and technically this would happen if you booted RS2 with no bios afaik.

The bios sets a flag in memory to let the game know calibration has already been done (or maybe it clears it, I forget which). If the flag isn't there the game will do it.

Just goes to a black screen when I start it up. ![]() I will say that the Rogue Squadron series from Factor 5 were the absolute best Star Wars games ever created! They were the main reason that I had an N64, GC, and now super excited about Dolphin being able to play them in HD. Just sad they had to close. R.I.P. F5

That's what I have been trying to do, but I guess I haven't gotten the right combination to work properly for the folder location.

Hey guys,
I'm not sure if this is the correct thread for some help - my apologies if not. And please excuse my lack of knowledge on all these subjects. I was hoping for some guidance on texture draw problems (I think) I have been having. My guess is that my laptop is just too underpowered to run this game. Here are my specs:
The build I am using now is 4.0-5811 I underclocked the game to 200MHz which makes gameplay smoother (though cutscenes and menus can still have obscenely high fps). I have used all three audio options (HLE, LLE recompiler and interpreter). I have read through these forums and tried a couple of the graphics options too. Some poorly chosen pictures are attached to illustrate the bad textures. They often occur on capital ships and the Death Star surfaces for example. But they also occur in the mission select menu. Thanks for any advice! |
