Yep. Specific build 5.0-3463 64bit.

Yep, same error. It also crashes if you enter your Arwing on level 9.

EDIT: Furthermore, it crashes occasionally on Zoness Base (same error yet again), and doesn't render player 2 in the character selection menu unless player 1 isn't rendered. Weird.

Apologies for the double post, but I felt this needed a bump...

I got a screencap of the exact error, which I have attached. Hopefully this should help, as this bug's pretty major (makes the game impossible to 100%).

Have you tried disabling dual core?

Certainly have, no change whatsoever.

EDIT: Got a bunch more errors using a different backend (Vulkan) on the latest build. Here are most of them, heaps of invalid read/write errors.

Hi guys,
I'm pretty new to using this emulator but I thought I'd mention that Star Fox Assault is no longer loading in Dolphin. I've downloaded multiple recent versions going back as far as maybe 2 months and they all just load straight to a black screen. I downloaded a very old version of Dolphin 4 and the game booted instantly. I should also mention that I'm using my ripped Australian version of the game in case an NTSC copy does still work.
