About the Game (IGN)
Everyone's favorite dragon leaps to the next generation in a magical journey through Dragon Realms. Gnasty Gnorc and Ripto are back with a plan to steal the Dragonflies of the Dragon Realm. With help from new and old friends, Spyro must avoid obstacles, jump on platforms, ride vehicles, collect gems, and find a way to return the Dragonflies and restore order to the Dragon Realm. Spyro now has new powers like electric and bubble breath to contend with as he fires through over 30 levels of unique environments including rainbows, tornadoes, monsoons and snowflakes.

The D3D Black texture thing is different now. When you start a level, all the textures are there except for the one Spyro is over. Textures turn black as Spyro passes over them and you end up painting the level black as you move around.
The issue with the game hanging in the Dragon Dojo level after you free one of the frozen dragons and he gives you a dragonfly is fixed now.
Still getting a crash returning from the Tank Training level that is a branch off the Dragon Dojo level:
The emulator crashes with a series of error messages. Here's the first few:

Emulation Status & Speed
What works:
- Open GL graphics seem perfect
- Sound perfect (except for save states)
What does not work:
- Black Textures in D3D (see below)
- Hangs and Crashes in a few places (see below)
- Sound sometimes absent when you reload a save state
- Tested with usual "speed" settings (Dual Core, Unlimited JIT, etc.)
- D3D is close to full speed 85-100%, FPS sometimes dipping as low as 18.
- OpenGL is actually faster than D3D now, 100% a lot of the time with occasional dips into 90% or 80%
- DolphinIL seems a little slower than Dolphin
- Played around with EFB copy settings, safe texture caching, but didn't see much difference
