GC-Spongebob Batte for Bikini Bottom: Controller movement speed ("sneaking")

How do I configure my controller (a Logitech Gamepad, if it matters?) for the "sneaking" movement? I've tried various searches and tried different settings (range, dead zone, modifier, etc) that got mentioned and nothing seems to work, I can only run.

There are areas you simply have to have this movement to get further in the game, so I'm stuck. Other controls all work as expected.

Anyone that has this working have some insight they can share?

LOL, I somehow just fixed it. Not sure what I did differently, but yay!

Here are my controller settings for anyone else having this problem:
   

I used this range for all 4 directions for both "Control Stick" and "D-Pad":

Turns out the problem had nothing to do with Dolphin settings, but my controller's functionality.

On the Logitech Gamepad F710, there is a "Mode" button with a light next to it (which is easy to accidentally hit by mistake when playing). Sneaking only works if you have this button/light OFF.
