ok, so i just downloaded the Dolphin 4.0 Em today, and i was running into problems with skies of arcadia, the music was choppy and the game was running really lagged kinda, so when i was reading forums it was all for the 3.5 version, so i downloaded that and ran it there, and it ran better than 4.0 for me, except that it would run at like 68% of the games normal speed, everything would slow down, and i had to deal with red circles below characters feet all game... anyone tell me anything i should know> since im new to emulators and dolphin 4.0? also i will put in my computer specs another time , but i know its a phenom cpu or whatever, it tells me in the upper let corner wen starting the game..

You might want to try one of the later development versions of 4.0, as the game config inis for quite a few games were accidentally not updated for the original 4.0 release. This wound up resulting in red and green shadows for Skies of Arcadia. They fixed that a few weeks ago, so any recent development version will do.

To be exact, anything 4.0-48 or higher will run this game without issues without having to change any settings. 4.0-48 is the first revision where all the necessary .ini settings were present. Anyway Shadowolf590, your issue is most likely the same DentD's, CPU's too slow. If possible, look into overclocking (but do your research first on how to properly OC).

ok i will research overclocking, and when i update dolphin wont mess with any settings, thank you very much ill update if i run into issues.

If you do overclock, make sure your cooler is up to it. Those original Phenoms ran hot as hell, and the default cooler AMD shipped will not be enough. You'll need a third party one.
