Hi there !

I'm a newbie in the GC/Wii emulation and this last week I make a lot of progress, but I still have a probleme with the game I most want to play...

This is Resident Evil remaque.

So, after I config my emu with all last thing, (i use r6222) and use last graphical plugin (here Direct3d 11)

I try to play resident evil, and, it looks like great ! no low fps, no glitches ... nice .

BUT !

It's impossible to save the game !!!
When i want to use the typing machine the emu crashes ! (Error try to compile)
AND ...
If I use quick saving in emulator (Shift+F1), when I reload the game,
I've no more heroes at screen just shadows... and no more sounds... total muting.

Anyone have the same problem and/or can help me to resolve this ?

I run Seven x64
latest graphical drivers on Geforce 9500GT.

Thanks a lot !

(sorry for english I'm from Belgium)

It's normal for the save-states to not be all that reliable. I do not have time to test the version you're using but I can tell you that R6000 works fine. Use that version for better results.

I just said it a while ago to another post lol, to overcome the shadow problem:
1. Start the game again (yes do press "start game", skip the scenes and when you see rebecca)
2. Load the save state

basically I think that if the game hasn't loaded up the characters textures, it can't draw them lol.

Yea, I figured that out for myself ( gotta load the game first, then load a save state or the character models won't be there ), but also, in RE Remake, I noticed using save states will stop the sound from working correctly, so I just use the typewriter saves now and I haven't had a problem with the sound cutting out on me.

I know, sometimes if you fire the gun or move a few steps, the sound on save states worked on me.
Also in the mansion, I often save stated in the room with the typwriter where I saved normally.
