Game is woking perfect with efb to ram with cache enabled, plus texture cache fast.
Need efb to ram to see 3D items on menu.

So annoying that I just finished this right before it was fixed... Argh, kinda makes me wanna go through it again >.< There should be a first person view hack we can play the whole game in, I think there was for Gameshark or a similar cheat device waaaay back on PS2. Some of the areas were a little messed up looking tho since the game isn't meant to played like that.

Hello, this is my first post here, so If anything I'm doing is wrong please redirect me to the correct thread
At first I had dolphin 3.0.5-dirty x64 or something like that and well, as anyone who played this game, you start with the game asking you to equip your lighter to see....well I didn't see much of anything anyway in that version. So I found your official site, got 4.1 x64. Now the game's video is perfect, but the sound is horrendous, it's choppy and whenever there is music makes the game go slow. Has this issue ever been reported in version 4.1, if I should be using another version (and I wish the problem is that simple to settle) please help. Or help in any other way Thanks a lot! If this works better in linux, no problem, I have Linux Mint 15 installed. But I won't reboot until I am given a satisfactory answer edit : I've clicked on the Wiki option and downloaded the recommended version. I thought nice, this time I do get the intro! But same problem with the sound as always. I looked at the audio options and DSP Emulator Engine LLE doesn't show, there's DSP LLE Recompiler which doesn't change a thing and DSP LLE Interpreter(slow) which I haven't tried. Emulation in the options is available for HLE, whatever that is. Can't say I didn't try. I'm gonna be trying some other RE games, I own them all but somebody stole my gamecube while living in college dorm and whenever I get nostalgic I would get mad I couldn't play (my very rare apparently) copy of CVX for gamecube among others. Now that I have a decent graphic card and excellent memory, a lot of things work, hell, the ps2 version plays very well but I always found the gamecube version to look much better. Update : Using OpenAL has solved the audio problem by 90%. I now notice that there is a slight graphic problem here but nothing dramatic, the game moves a bit slow, slightly perceptible. I'd rather there wouldn't be any, because it does work smooth when using a ps2 emulator and a ps2 rom. I'll have to look into that, which seems a bit more difficult than a simple audio problem. 10-31-2013, 11:18 AM

Hi there... I post here to find a way to play this wonderful game.
Now I'm on a macbook, MAC OS X 10.6.8. and I can't update it, so I could use lastest version of dolphin. Then I downloaded 3.0, 3.5. and 3.5-367. I tried NTSC and PAL version, but It always crash in the prison, when by default the game opens the menu to equip the lighter. No glitch sounds or anything else, the videos work very well, but cannot play -.-' Any hints? I tried to disable efb copies, efb on ram+cache or without, disabled panic handlers... no results Hope you'll find a way! Thanks 04-25-2014, 11:48 AM

Seems related to a lot of games having that problem.
If you make an issue report with those screenshots + a fifolog on the issue tracker, I'll accept it. |
