With my system and the recommended settings the only place I dont get full speed is when it is an outdoor scene and it is raining. Other than that perfectly. I actually am in the middle of replaying it now. Just started disc 2. (using 3.5 1591 because of the audio fixes)

Great. very glad to hear that the audio fixes is realized. So the emulation of RE4 GC version really tends to be perfect.

I *think* if you delete the contents of the shadercache folder it may help, but I do not know that for certain.

The shader cache and the code cache are two different things. The shader cache stores previously generated shader for re-use. The code cache has something to do with thr JIT recompiler iirc.

Long-shot solution: try holding Tab for a while after "Clearing Code Cache" appears. Sometimes on games that run 30 FPS or 60 FPS depending on the area, Dolphin doesn't correctly adjust the FPS, so I have to kickstart it manually to bump it from 30 back to 60. It might work here for your situation. Also, maybe try pausing Dolphin and then starting again (dunno if that would help, but you may as well try that too).

Ok sorry for reviving a somewhat old thread, but I have RE4 for GameCube. In this old thread>> https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-resident-evil-series-official-thread?page=124&highlight=resident+evil there is a build that is supposed to fix the audio loop stopping. But I tried and it's still screwed up for me. So does it only work for the Wii version?
