Now the sound problem in RE0 NTSC has been fixed with r6268 (you must activate "emulate disk transfer rate" option in the game properties)

Yeah, that's fixed but some minor crackling and issues with missing sounds and bgm music cutting off still exists.

Thanks for the hint, I'll try it out. Smile

Hmm I played this game fine with the 6253 build. The sound had no problems during gameplay.
About the dual core notice, I ignored it and the game never crashed like it said lol.
The only time the sound was out of sync was during the fmvs, otherwise it always worked great! I used the dx9 plugin and tweaked it a little.

The r6268 build did indeed fix the problem, thanks for pointing that out. Smile
It has an unnerving manner of giving several error messages at each game start though, albeit the game plays pretty nice so far. Are they build-specific or the result of poor config?

UPD: Seems the errors pop up when dual core is enabled. Didn't happen so in the 2.0 version, but then again 2.0 was way slower and buggier. Smile Turning off dual core results in slower gameplay, so I guess I would live with a few messageboxes on game startup.

The only problem with 6268 (as well as a lot of other SVN builds) is that it crashes every time I try to switch to another window. But since RE games aren't that long, and it is said savestates work okay, I guess I'd live with it as well.

I tried r6298 and now there's no more crackling in the movies...
