So, I tried in r4082 and it seems that crash randomly. FPS go to 0 and music start to looping.
Also, it seems reaaaly slow, compared to other games. The thing that surprises me is that there are no missing notes in the music, as it seems in colosseum. Again, there must be a core problem. 08-28-2009, 05:13 PM
Game suffers from timing problems, I guess sometimes it overwrites things in the FIFO buffers causing the GPU and possibly other things to miss data instructions or it seems it will write bogus data to the FIFO and Dolphin will show a GFX desync message box for that. I noticed the game sometimes speeds up too fast, so it looks like the game is having trouble idling properly and the watchdog doesn't seem to be doing its job. I think the whole system that streams / handles the data between the 2 chips need to be re-coded from scratch.

Well changing the watchdog timing might help a bit, but it'll crash until dolphin has a better way of handing the data communication between the 2 threads without losing data or generating bogus data.

I don't have this game so, have you guys tried on single core mode, or interpreter mode? I guess this way there wouldn't be such desyncs, unless you're right there and the code is faulty.

I forgot to say earlyer that I tried with many config combinations (like dual core, idle skip, optcuan, etc), and nothing...
For me its always random crash and speed problems. It's funny to think that SMG runs full speed for me and this game not... Of course, i'm didn't try all the combinations. 08-31-2009, 04:32 AM
i have tryed out all hacks in combination to....
