[GC] Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness

Hey all, been trying to run this game but having stability issues. Occasionally while playing the game will just lock up: video freezes and audio starts looping. Nothing responds to inputs and I have to alt-tab out and kill the process. It's quite annoying, and I have no idea exactly what triggers it besides that it likes to (but not always) happen after a quickplay match while I'm testing things, but can happen otherwise. It's happened on every version that I've tried: stable, beta, and a fork build. I haven't changed any settings off defaults besides the wiki recommended ones (Force 4:3)

I'm new to the forum so have pity. Where can I ask for help if I want to create my own texture pack? I would like to create a texture pack for pokemon xd gale of darkness and have already started with it, I have dumped over thirty-five thousand textures and I will upscale all textures in waifu2x coffee with the ultra preset (esrgan) and 8x scale and then with the custom- convert texture-tool i convert them to dds (bc7), it would be nice if someone either helps me or tells me what I can do better, if someone agrees to take care of me, then I will show the already upscaled textures to them so that they can work together

Also new. Stuck on Bonsly. Playing with new OpenEmu, dolphin 5.0.4. The edit controller does not look the same. No deadzone parameter for the Cpad. Does anyone know what to do?

Instead of using OpenEmu, have you tried the latest dev build from this website?

So I have tried everything from this thread any many others to make my Pokemon xd run smoothly and im at a loss. if it was just a hiccup here or their i wouldn't mind buts its every 5 seconds, the frame-rate dips to 5 fps and makes playing the game impossible. i have played it before with no problems but for some reason it just wont stop lagging now. Any help would be appreciated, i can of course provide any info necessary.

Before my recent upgrade I was running basically similar specs to your computer you have in your profile, so I know this game shouldn't have problems like that.

Please get some screenshots of your Dolphin config and graphics pages, and post them here (you'll probably have upload them to an image hosting site like imgur or flicker). That way we can help you tweak for better results.
