I reverted the 2 calibration patches and it seems to have fixed the issue for me. I'll do a bit more testing today and just to make sure. 05-06-2015, 08:03 AM
Reverting the two changes will cause other issues, so that is not a solution.
Try applying this diff instead and let me know if that fixes the problem for you: https://patch-diff.githubusercontent.com.../2367.diff 05-06-2015, 09:24 AM

Hey all. New user here, apologies if this isn't the right place for this.
A friend and I were trying to play PSO over netplay - Everything seemed to be going well (we used offline multiplayer in the game, were able to make characters etc) and we spawned inside the main station. We teleported down to the planet and then... it seemed like we were running different copies, and the emulators were just reporting instructions back and forth. It became very clear that although we could see the split screen as if we were playing on the same system, we were both seeing different split screens. I ran on ahead to fight some enemies, but to my friend it looked like I was just running aimlessly round the start area swinging wildly. And the same seemed true for him. We both reported seeing different enemies in the areas we were in too. I was hosting, and he was connected to me. The ping was reasonable, around 80ms. Not sure what else info you guys may need? 05-22-2015, 09:19 AM
It sounds like the two of you had a desync.
What are the specs on both of your computers? What build are you using? 05-22-2015, 05:44 PM

My machine is an i7 4790k (4GHz), Radeon R9 290, 16GB RAM. I'm not sure of my friend's build but I know it's no slouch and has no trouble running PSO on Dolphin in single player.
We're both using the most recent stable, 4.0.2, we made sure of that last night when we were trying to get netplay working initially but both of us had the developmental builds... 05-22-2015, 07:57 PM

Just make sure that both of you are using the same development build. |
