It's not a game breaking bug, but at least when rendering the saber weapon in the field, the status/options screen will be pushed up about a third of the way of the screen, only rendering about 2/3 of the screen in the viewable area, oddly enough it doesn't happen with the handgun, so it may have to do with the weapons lightsaber effect.
Using opengl fixes that, but it also causes some text to not show up, and D3d11 doesn't work properly, so it's a game that is best played dealing with the issue in dx3d9.
Tested it in 3.0 stable, 3.5 stable, and 3.5 r1282 all x64.

Not a problem causing or game breaking bug (or even a bug that should be fixed anytime soon, more important things to do after all), but i suppose it is a bug, so i felt i should post.

Also as far as i know, FMV's don't work in this game, on dx3d9 at least, but they are still skippable by pressing start and don't effect the game in any way really.

I doubt this game is significantly different from the regular version of PSO in Dolphin, so for the FMV, you might want to see the section I wrote about getting video to work: http://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Phantasy_Star_Online_Episode_I_%26_II#Black_Video

If it works for the Plus version, I'll update the wiki.

Yeah that fixes the FMV's.

I have had one error that hasn't been mentioned here. For a while now I've been playing this game with many AR codes running. Recently, and I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong or changed, one of the codes just flat-out stopped working. It's soulja's "Enemies Always drop Rare items" code (the only code that I really wanted in the first place). I was hoping by posting this here someone could help me fix my problem. Here's what I've tried thus far: (I should also mention, all the other codes work just fine and the actual gameplay works just fine)

a) Restarting Dolphin
b) Restarting the computer
c) Removing and reinputing the code
d) Tried finding a new code that does the same
e) Tried a new .iso of the same game
f) Tried creating a new game file
g) Tried removing all other codes from my AR list
h) All of the above combined

This code is one of the only codes my fiancee and I wanted to work since it spoils us in Red Boxes. The bankmod code ruins that fun so that's not an option for us. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated Smile

Disclaimer: I'll apologize now if this is in the wrong section, I wasn't sure where else to put it. I was going to put it in the dolphin Support area, but I don't know whether this is an issue with the emulator or with my computer or what. If this is in the wrong section, could you please move it to the appropriate one and again, I'm sorry.

I am totally agree with you. You are 100% good here that only rendering about 2/3 of the screen in the viewable area, oddly enough it doesn't happen with the handgun, so it may have to do with the weapons lightsaber effect.

I agreed what's said above!!!

To play this game online, you need to properly setup the emulated BBA (Broad Band Adapter). See instructions here: https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/wiki/BBA

You never mentioned what you're trying to connect to. Since the official servers are no longer online, you can only connect to private servers. If you're trying to connect to anything other than a private server, online play won't work.
