The C-Stick isn't used for much in this game, mostly just to continue reading messages in battle. http://strategywiki.org/wiki/Paper_Mario:_The_Thousand-Year_Door/Controls

Are you expecting it to do something else?

I wasn't expecting much else, I just wanted to know if there was a fix for it or not. Not a big deal.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I was just trying to see if there was anything to fix at all :p If the game doesn't use the C-Stick a lot, then it probably is working for you, it's just that you haven't done any actions that use the C-Stick. I haven't played this game in years, but certain attacks and reading messages in battle should be cases where the C-Stick is used. Have you tried these yet?

I read the wiki awhile ago and apparently the C stick is only used to read text for items and descriptions, etc, just like you said; no attacks are used with C-Stick.

Thanks again.

I find whenever I go into the pipes in the Great Tree, right after the little transition animation stops, Dolphin instantly crashes, with no warning. My specs are usually enough to run the game at full speed with 2-3 frameskip, but it doesn't ever just outright crash like this. Any tips?
Also, I'm new and I don't really know what to add to help you guys help me, so let me know what I should be adding to this post.

Make sure that your dump is correct. Even redumping multiple times results in corrupted files. One way to be sure that the dump is 100% correct is to generate its MD5 hash, then compare that hash with a verified copy. You can find the verified MD5 hashes on sites like GameTDB.com; google around for a free tool that can generate MD5 hashes for files.
