I have the problem that this Game stucks in the screen where it loads dada from the memory card (which comes after the intro) forever so I'm unable to start this game.

Have you verified if your ISO isn't a bad dump? You can do that by right-clicking the game on Dolphin's game list then going to Properties => Verify tab...
Avell A70 MOB: Core i7-11800H, GeForce RTX 3060, 32 GB DDR4-3200, Windows 11 (Insider Preview)
ASRock Z97M OC Formula: Pentium G3258, GeForce GT 440, 16 GB DDR3-1600, Windows 10 (22H2) 11-02-2020, 07:58 AM
Dolphin shows me, that this is a good dump. It's the European ISO. The MD5 is 81321e8256205e3cfb71257e6ba2970f.

I am also having this problem; I also verified my dump, which is US version. It happens after the title screen when the boat is travelling across the ocean; it fades to white and then gets messed up. I messed around with a bunch of the settings and found that the behavior changes depending on whether "Enable MMU" (whatever that means) is checked. If it's unchecked, I get memory read/write errors ("Invalid read from. . ." etc), followed by a crash to desktop. If it's checked, it hangs on the fade to white indefinitely, and I have to stop the emulation manually. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I really want to play this awesome game
I think you have not the same bug as I. Mine is really wired. If I change the system language of the GameCube to English everything works fine and I'm able to access to menu, but if I set German as System Language, I get these error on start:
The intro works normal, but before I get to the main menu, the is reading the save file forever. I mean this screen: Music and loading animation works normal. No crash here. Just a endless loop. 12-20-2020, 09:05 AM

How I fixed it is I went to Options>Graphics Settings>Backend>Direct3D 12. Maybe you will need a different backend but try it out. Also had dual core disabled as was recommended by many posts. Well this was super helpful, but now like 90% of my shit is broke in terms of textures, can't see text, can't see most things other than mario himself 12-24-2020, 02:42 PM
Asking for a friend, they have attempted to boot the game but it says that the memory card in slot A is corrupt and asking to format, I don't think it would lead to anything serious but i want to confirm this would this screw anything up?

Alright, kinda new to all this so please be a little patient.
I've been playing for a while with a few minor issues that aren't really problems, it's an emulator I know it's not perfect, but now I've reached the Bowser section at the end of Chapter 5. Everything plays as normal up to the detonation of the Superbomb, at which point the framerate drops (not surprising with so many entities on screen) and the transition plays as normal, the black circle closing on a white screen, but the game simply continues to sit on that black screen forever. I can still hear the music and ambient sound effects playing no problem, it just never loads anything past that point. I'm running Dolphin 5.0-13465 on my Lenovo Legion Y520. 01-24-2021, 06:00 PM
Only the shadows of the enemies are appearing, what should I enable or disable in the settings of Dolphin Android MMJR?

I've had this issue in the official Android builds too, though... I recall that switching graphics backends helped, but I'm not sure. |
