Bounding Box is only used on the Paper Mario games and on Disney's Magical Mirror starring Mickey Mouse. Your issue with the Metroid games are completely unrelated to this.

Hello,
I am currently playing Paper Mario on my macbook air and it has been running perfectly so far. However, I have hit a wall in Chapter five when you have to cross a wall of spikes using Vivian's hide ability. When I use Vivian's ability, the animation is slower than the rest of the game which makes it impossible to cross. I saw on the forums that u have to overclock your gpu, but as said before, I only have a macbook air with me to play roms, so I have no gpu. Is there any way to fix this besides that?

Thank you!

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "the animation is slower than the rest of the game", but problems with speeds of various kinds not matching other speeds can generally be fixed by turning off dual core. It may make everything slower (depending on the game and your hardware), but it will make everything equally slow.

@Aquri your profile says you're using Dolphin 4.0? You should probably try the latest Dolphin 5.0 dev build

Post all of your graphics settings.

Here are my graphics config settings. I enabled the bounding box as I saw that was a fix for other issues.
I also use D_3D-12 because I get a warning about MSAA when I use OpenGL
Thanks

The MSAA warning appears if you´re forcing it through the GPU´s driver. Check the Radeon control panel to make sure it isn´t.

What about D3D11?

D3D11 doesn't render the text boxes
I'll include my custom dolphin settings and still get the MSAA warning on openGL

You´re still getting it because it´s still enabled through the driver instead of just enabling it on Dolphin.
