I'm trying to get past the section where Toadette teaches you how to use the hammer spin, but there's no way for me to rotate the joystick (i.e. press the movement buttons) in a way that allows me to complete it. Any suggestions?

Hi guys, I've been trying to play the game and everytime i open a menu or i must choose an option on a dialogue, the selector goes crazy.
I'm using a Wired Fight Pad Pro for Nintendo Switch and everything else works fine.
I've already checked if it was for the dead zone and calibrated a couple of times, and even on a dead zone of 50, the game doesn't seem to go better.
My settings:

Hi,

I'm having this exact issue as described here: https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/8874

I tried turning off dual core in the game properties to no avail. I can't use Direct3D since I'm on macOS (using Vulkan if that helps). Any workaround/solution for a mac user?

Just found my dumped TTYD game to have a play about and noticed a few issues.

First issue is the X-Nauts that are supposed to appear after you fight Crump are all invisible apart from their shadows.
Second one is that the game seems to softlock after you speak with Professor Frankly and are about to go down into the sewers, at the point where he's supposed to break the fence. However this never happens and as such, the game softlocks.
Current Setup: HP EliteBook 8750w
Intel Core i7-3820QM @ ~2.7GHz | 20GB RAM | Nvidia Quadro K2000M
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS

Update to the latest development version of Dolphin. If it still doesn't work then, switch graphics backend to OpenGL.

Just checked my settings and I'm already using the OpenGL graphics backend. I'll see how it works with the latest dev build and get back to you. Thanks!

Edit: Loaded up the latest dev build and haven't tested the first issue.

HOWEVER, the second issue now gives me an error message which might help with actuallly fixing the issue. It looked like it'd play normally but threw up this error:

"GFX FIFO: Unknown Opcode (0x0f @ 00000000194919A0 preprocess=false)"

And the box said it could be a desynced GPU, command stream corrupted by a bug, an unknown opcode or some other bug. Okay so it didn't fix the issue but it might help me figure out what the heck is going on here.

... But it seems to be playing normally now so maybe just that one bit hecked up.

Haven't had any further issues but wanted to document something here in case anyone else runs into it.

On the stable release of Dolphin 5.0, going into Paper Mode seems to make the character models of Mario and his partner transparent and very big, but Paper Mode works normally on dev build 10430.

Hi, i had lots of lag when there is some bounding box effects like the steamboat at the prologue, the bridge raising at the first chapter and flurrie's air to remove the "paper". I've tried Vulkan, OpenGL and direct 3d backends but all of then give me poor results, the best one being theVulkan. The FPS drops from steady 60 to 20 -30 FPS. Any help is appreciate.
My specs:
Operating System: Windows 10 x64
Processor/CPU: intel I7 3770 3.4 Ghz
Video Card/GPU: Nvidia GeForce 1060 6GB
Memory/RAM: 16 GB
Dolphin Revision Currently Using: 5.0-xxxx X64 (always the latest) and the latest Ishiiruka for custom textures.

I'm still learning english. Please, be patient with me. And, if i make a mistake, please correct me, i will learn a lot this way!  Big Grin

Yes, i am using Dolphin 5.0-10607. I've tried with all backends and all of them shows the same problem with the lag.
