Make sure enable cheats is on and the widescreen code is checked. Also it's important that the widescreen hack in the graphics options is turned off.

By the way what is the code you're using? I always play in 4:3 but maybe I can test 16:9. I have a few different codes. Smile

Cheats is on, the code is checked, and the widescreen hack is off. The code is WORKING, as you can see in the first screenshot. All the other screenshots are taken during transitions or in menus. Everything's fine while walking around or in battle (Although the health bars and target select icons don't line up properly); it's just the transition graphics having problems. Do note how the HUD is center on the 4:3 section of the screen still. If there's some way to stretch or reposition that to fir 16:9, I suspect that would fix the transition graphics and the battle icons.

I'm using this code:
04199598 4E800020
0441F6D8 3FE38E39

If it matters, the solution for the cutscene black bars I'm using is the one posted by masterotaku here. Maybe there's some way to use shaders to extend the transition black screen, like you can do with the black bars?

I've added my Dolphin settings to the imgur album, if it helps.

I'll be checking back here every few days, if anyone can help. For now I'm just dealing with the errors, but it's quite frustrating.

EDIT (03/03/2016):
Still no luck, I'm just playing in 4:3 now. I did somehow manage to make things worse, as the masterotaku shader solution isn't working to get rid of the black bars in cutscenes anymore.

Don't use version 4.0.2. Upgrade to the latest development revision.

Do not ever recommend people use 4.0.2. It's horribly old, ridiculously outdated, and lacking tons of features and optimizations present in the latest dev builds.

MOD EDIT: [color=red]do not[/color] quote the entire OP!

Okay.. Today, I was playing SMS and after a while I decided that I wanted to play PMTTYD, and, I would like to note, I was using dolphin version 4.0-82xx.. I don't remember the last two digits.. sorry. Anyway, when I started playing I encountered a problem. I started a save file, and got to the part where Lord Crump is having an argument with Goombella. About halfway through the text bubbles, I get a pop-up saying "Warning: Memory Stride too small". I look this up on the forums, update to the latest version of Dolphin, and I use the driver for my Wii U Adapter, to which it says "Driver Not Detected". At first, I thought that it was the version of dolphin, so I downloaded a version in the 4.0-82xx part. Still says the driver isn't found. I don't know what to do, I just bought the Adapter today, brand new, and it doesn't seem to work with the newer versions.

Also, is this where I should be posting this? Probably not, I just didn't know where else to, considering the problem started with this game, I think.

Any ideas on what to do??

Thanks

There is a problem with the OS X builds right now - the GameCube controller adapter will only work with 4.0-9115 and earlier.

I'm rather new to Dolphin and emulating in general, so I expected problems, but this is rather peculiar.
I used CleanRip to get the ISO for Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (US), and it's mostly working. I'm using Better DS3 so my Dualshock 3 can mimic an XBox 360 controller so that it can mimic a Gamecube controller. However, once I got into Rogueport, Mario started moving down-left. I thought this might be a problem with the controller, so I used a different Dualshock controller. This also didn't help. I tried editing the deadzone in Better DS3 and in Dolphin Controller Configuration, but this didn't help either. As a last resort, I tried seeing if I could play on the keyboard instead and mapped some keys to the Gamecube buttons. Once again, most of the things worked, but Mario was moving down-left, even while using WASD to move.
Is this an in-game bug, a problem with emulation, or did the ISO I ripped not copy right (the disc drive on the backwards compatible Wii I used is rather, ah, not functioning, which is part of why I'm emulating in the first place).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like a bad dump. What's the MD5 of the ISO you got?
(Dolphin can calculate it for you, right-click the game on the list => Properties => Info => Calculate MD5)
