Using the latest dev build (5954 as of this post), I have a reproducible game crash while using the OpenGL backend.

After this screen, I press A to continue and when the screen fades to white, I get these errors:

All of my graphics settings are at the defaults, with no game settings being overridden. I'm using the LLE recompiler audio emulation, with a dumped DSP from my Wii.

On the Direct3D backend, this crash doesn't happen.

I'm using Windows 8.1, and the integrated graphics from my Core i7 3632QM. Typically, I have better output with OpenGL than Direct3D in Dolphin (i.e. less artifacts, equal or better performance). I don't have another system to attempt reproduction of the OpenGL crash with, so I thought I would post here to see if others can as well or if it's an issue with my hardware. If nobody else does, I should have my desktop built within the next few weeks and I'll report back then.

Intel HD graphics cards do not support hardware bounding box emulation.

Just a quick question here; is this ( http://www.mediafire.com/download/bt24xfzf4yy2x4m/framedump0.7z ), supposed to happen on first load of Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door? It only happens once and never happens again until you clear the shader cache. I have never experienced this on console and I was wondering if this was a bug or limitation of Dolphin's shader system or something.

This is using default settings on 4.0-5962. I have this issue on both my (Athlon x2 B24 @ 3.0 Ghz with a R7 240 graphics card) desktop and my (Intel Core B940 @ 2.0 Ghz with an Intel HD Graphics integrated card) laptop.

EDIT: Another issue that seems tied to the shader cache that I do not get on console is this: http://www.mediafire.com/download/4b95i6wo3z6wibi/framedump1.7z

I never get it more then once per shader cache rebuild and it always happens in the same pattern. These issues are not really gamebreaking, but they do get annoying and it would be nice to get confirmation on whether these are bugs or limitations of the current shader system.

I'm getting a crash whenever I try and return to the room with the multibounce badge, just after the Thowmp quiz show. I'm able to enter the room just fine from the pipe that appears, but whenever I try reentering from either the left or right sides of the area after getting the moon stone or sun stone, it just crashes. No error message or code, just a message that the program has stopped working. I've tried disabling dual core and using the recommended settings on the wiki, but no change. Any suggestions or ideas?

Yep, that fixes the issues. Thanks for the help. If it isn't too much trouble, where could I find more information on why this happens (for curiosity sake)? Is it because of the order dual core loads things in or something?

Ah, thanks for explaining. I actually had noted this issue a few years ago and had asked about it in a issue report I related to TTYD; but nothing ever came out of it because I didn't know enough about Dolphin to consistently reproduce it. Glad this one can be put to rest. Would it be worth it to note this in the wiki that this kind of thing can happen on first load of PM:TTYD if not using single core?

It likely depends on computer if this will happen or not. Maybe it's worth nothing that garbage can happen on dualcore during bounding box transitions? I don't know, I ran into it maybe once or twice during a full playthrough of the first 5 chapters.
