So when i am in hook-tail castle koops ability (you know the shell hold used for the block puzzles) always seems to go to either the center of the room or a fixed point in that room.
Now that wouldn't be a issue if it wasn't for the room where the door can only be reached by paper plane.
The only reason i made it that far was because of luck so if there is a fix that i am unaware of i would greatly appreciate thanks.

My daughter was having that same issue but I fixed it. See the attached photos for the settings I used. Once I made the changes, she was able to use "koops" on the block to move the larger one. She has AR codes enabled as well, and had no issues.

Hey guys. My dolphin keeps freezing when loading certain things. Even during battles and stuff. Just like everything. Making it unplayable. Sometimes it will freeze and then I'll wait a minute or so and then click ok on the error and it will start working fine again.

Hi guys, new user here, had to make an account to ask this question cause I couldn't find it in the discussion

My problem is audio/video sync. My audio seems to lag about half a second, maybe a bit more, behind the video. I've experimented with the various audio settings, as well as adjusting the frame rate limitation to 50 (which completely destroyed audio) and the best I can get it seems to be about a half second audio lag. I don't know if it's relevant, but I adjusted the graphics settings in Dolphin to render at 3x native resolution with 2x AA so that it looked better, but I believe the audio was still lagging before I made those changes

I'm using Dolphin 4.0.2, an Intel Core i7 2600k @ 4.6GHz, an Nvidia GTX 680 with 4GB graphics memory, and 16GB of RAM. Any ideas?

Yup. Use the latest development version. This isn't a generic response; there was a fix for this a while ago.

It was hard to figure out which parts of the animation were broken .. It turns out that the part of the animation-loop which was displayed distorted is exactly the half of the correctly displayed animation-loop and also backwards .. So I had to take every second frame of the correctly part and reverse it .. But I must have done a mistake I assume, because of the shaky thing .. Anyway I did my best for you guys, until it's fixed by the devs or anyone else, so enjoy Smile

Hey, new member here! My problem is not actually a visual or audio bug, but rather a gameplay bug. I can't seem to get the L or R buttons to function in Paper Mario. They work perfectly well in other games such as Melee and Brawl, but without the R button I can't even complete Hooktail's castle, let alone the rest of the game. I've tried updating from an earlier 4.0-2 model to 4.0-3212, but there's no luck. It also doesn't matter what I set the L/R or L/R-analog option to, as it still doesn't register it for this game.

Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!

What part of it do you need to use the shoulder buttons for?

Try mapping both L analog and trigger to a single button, and same with R

Thank you so much! That's what the problem was!

Ok, actually I have a new problem now. The game runs completely fine (even the graphical glitches such as the paper flips and the missing x-nauts are gone), but now every time I boot up Paper Mario, dolphin crashes for no reason. It was literally running fine 20 minutes ago. As soon as I exited Dolphin it decided to explode >.>.

EDIT: nevermind, switched to Direct3D and that fixed the problem.

I had a similar issue with SM Sunshine, so that's what fixed it for me.

Glad D3D fixed the issue
