Hello everyone, i am getting very poor performance on Gamecube NFS Carbon version playing on the latest emulator Android developer release (15571). Well it was the same on earlier versions too. The phone is Poco F3 with Snapdragon 870 so it should handle this game in theory but i cant find the right settings to get good performace on this game. Other games run more or less fine, but on Carbon (and Most Wanted) i get low fps (20ish) and terrible sound stuttering. Maybe someone could help me to fix this problem as i could not find any useful info? Thank you very much

I found that limiting emulated CPU frequency to 80% helps a lot, NFS games became playable, but fps still drops sometimes. Any ideas how to make it smoother?

Snapdragon 870 is for sure enough to play this game at full speed and with higher resolution than native, but the problem is that most OEMs don't allow you to use your SoC full power, either for decrease power consumption or avoid heating issues. The only way for you to get the full power of your devices is by installing custom a ROM and a performance kernel.
PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / GTX 660 2GB / 16GB DDR4 3600MHz / Windows 10 Pro

Phones: Poco F3 8/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

In other words root your phone and install the 3C CPU manager from the Google Play store. Then select the performance governor in the settings. Just pay attention that your cores don't get too hot or they will throttle and cause stuttering by automatically down clocking.
