Typically, the earlier the build the faster.

I would not recommend using anything before 4800 for this game. Dolphin 2.0 is quite fast and I can confirm that 5016 is both fast and accurate (no bugs) for this game.

I'm getting crashes like crazy with Direct3d9, but OpenGL has terrible framerates.
With Direct3d, it has decent framerates most of the time, but crashes about 70% of the time when I press the start button.

I've played around a ton with the settings on both, and pretty much nothing changes the performance or stability by much.

I'm using x64 r5949
I'm running
Core i3 350
4Gb RAM DDR3 1066
Geforce 330M w/ 1Gb RAM

Any suggestions?

Safe texture cache yes. The others, no, I didn't but I do now. No noticeable difference.

I was able to get Direct3d working and stable by going back a few builds (to r5163). Not sure what the difference was, but it's working now.

Other way around chacker. I think he was checking to make sure that he didn't have those on.

no he was right...i just kno that in older builds way back when about a year ago...you had to have the tlb hack enabled otherwise you would get really rare random crashes and really common messages when switching visors and going into rooms...idk musta changed..lol Tongue

Hi everyone, I have a problem with the game.
When I start the game, I can hear the music (of the intro, the menu and even of the history mode) but the screen keeps black. Does anyone know which is the problem? I've tried changing the configuration, but it's the same.

My specs:

- Windows 7 Ultimate x32
- Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 (2.66GHz)
- 3072MB RAM
- Nvidia GeForce 7300GT 512MB
- DirectX 11
- Dolphin 2.0

Thanks.
