I do use the one I'm working on. Whenever I make a change, that change is unofficial until it has been submitted as a pull request and approved by other people, which might take few days (or even longer). When I say that I use custom builds, I just mean builds that include one such change each, not full-blown custom versions along the lines of Ishiiruka.

Hm. But I don't start in fullscreen.

can anyone provide some mod support for me? I am trying to get this mod to work

https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-ar-code-to-disable-clipping-in-metroid-prime-1-2?pid=370683#pid370683

but i seem to be having complications when using the provided "PakTool". when I input the cmd codes "PakTool GGuiSys.pak" and "PakTool NoARAM.pak" the Paktool.exe crashes, but when i put the provided folders with or without the modded files (GGuiSys-pak and NoARAM-pak) in the root folder Paktool executes the command. the problem is paktool doesn't actually extract the .pak file like it is supposed to. so when i repack all the files nothing happens.

any idea what to do?

Can a 6700k lock 60 fps in the map menu? Chozo Ruins lags out pretty hard for me on a 3770k at 4.2Ghz. Even at 4.6Ghz it doesn't lock and it's definitely a CPU bottleneck.

It sure can. Not just the gamecube version, but the Wii version also (with sync GPU enabled).

Found that the real solution to map screen performance drops is just to switch to Vulkan. Getting 2.2x better frames compared to OpenGL. Are there any outstanding issues with Vulkan compared to OpenGL that I should be aware of? Am I giving anything up in terms of accuracy by using it instead?

Hi. I've just started playing Metroid Prime 1 with an xbox 360 controller and can't figure out how to get the across B dash to work. The dash which the game teaches you when you encounter the first boss. I've tried it multiple ways and when I'm locked on and press B and across Samus just does a regular jump straight up and down. I've also tried holding down across then pressing B which was recommend, and so far nothing has worked. Undecided Is it a very precise timing thing?

You need to press B while holding the control stick left or right, while also being locked on. There's no precise timing involved for a regular dash of this kind.

Maybe the lock-on isn't working properly? Make sure that you've mapped both L and L-Analog to the button you're using to lock on.
