I'd just buy a mayflash gamecube adapter. they're like $15. In case you haven't played prime before, only 1 joystick is set to movement. the c stick is only for switching beams. It's kind of like Goldeneye or Turok. 07-26-2014, 03:56 AM
i dont have gamecube controller. if i buy right now from amazon. it is run for 30 buck plus adapter as you suggest for 15 buck which make for nearly 50 buck to play one game that make more than 12 years ago?

You could also buy a used controller. But it's not really needed for that game anyway. You should be able to play it just fine with your X360 pad.

Hey guys, just like to report that I recently fired up Metroid Prime yesterday with recent build 4.0-3232 and efb to ram is working flawlessly without no slowdown. I'm returning back from the research lab on Phendrana Drifts where the lights go out and requires efb to ram in order for the visor to work properly at the same time lots of action going on screen, runs smooth on this build. What was the optimization that made this feature function fast by the way?

I've got to imagine that it was any one (or many) of FioraAeterna's JIT optimizations, actually.

Hey, I'm new here but I have encountered an odd glitch in Metroid Prime, and if this is the wrong place to post it please let me know. I have been playing the game in Dolphin for a couple days and it's been running remarkable smoothly, which is very impressive considering it was only a year or two ago I tried it in Dolphin and it was unplayable.
However, while the game is working almost 99% correctly for me so far, I ran into what looked like missing textures in the Phendrana region--instead of rock textures, for instance, in some spots there is a strange black texture with an image of Samus that is tiled on instead. I did not see this until after I acquired the Boost Ball and was working my way back to the save point, and along the way I was noticing it in more and more places. My computer has been playing the game at a fairly stable 50-60fps, and everything still seemed to be functioning fine even with this glitch happening. I'm on an HP Pavillion Elite with an AMD FX-6120 6-core OCd to 4.0, 10GB RAM, and an XFX ATI HD 7770 GPU. Dolphin version 4.0-3599. OpenGL backend, OpenAL audio backend, OpenMP texture decoder, HLE DSP, no AA, no AF, aspect forced to 16:9 and widescreen hack on. If any of the above settings are overridden by the game INI than I don't know, as these are my defaults but I have not modified the game INI. I suspect perhaps the widescreen hack is involved, but I have played through several hours of the game and this issue had not arisen at all, and it appeared to get worse as I kept playing (only for a few minutes after noticing it, though). Anyways, here's screenshots. http://imgur.com/a/biF2i |
