Sad
Since this game has tried to be emulated, many have been the graphic issues we've seen, however, latest rev 3443 permits the game show all the graphics including life and O2 gauges. I've just tried it today and guess the wonderfull surprise... I don't have a proper gamepad to play the game, so it's been a pain in the ass trying to move the character properly Angry
the reason of this thread is to let you know something maybe you didn't know so far and to gather some sollutions to the "control issues" along with the sound ones if they exist. thanks to dolphin team in advance for such a wonderfull surprise and keep it up to solve the last problems concerning on the JITIL x64 exe. sorry if I didn't read the rest of the metal gear threads but this is too good to be truth;feel free give your opinions and sollutions.
regards to all Dolphin maniacs.

I played MGS a bit yesterday and I was very surprised.
All gfx glitches are gone, stable/playable fps ~50-60. No hacks required.
Both savestates and normal saves work just fine.
The game still shows tons of errors on startup(just keep pressing enter), but its a minor issue.
However, having messed with gfx(AA, fullscreen, other than native resolution, etc) the game started to crash each time I'd been detected by enemies and the alarm went on. And at some point snake started to move like a retard : o.
But it seems that with a proper cfg the game will be perfectly playable.

I really would like to get one, the thing is I don't have enough money yet, but if the game can be played perfectly using one, I'd better hurry up. Some of the issues mentioned by fagoatse unless they appear later on in the game (sorry i don't know how to expresss that in english) seem not to be present. thanks for your comments anyway. Wink

Use safe texture cache helps with some crashes but the game is still buggy so it crashes randomly.

and it these errors won't bother you anymoreWink

Options: Dual core enabled + idle skipping
All advanced settings enabled except for optimize quantizers
video plugin OGL with only native res and auto scale
