Is the game running at 100% speed? If not, try using EFB to Texture. If it is running at 100% speed, try swapping between XAudio2 and OpenAL backends.

Anyone else having issues with rainbow effects showing up in the snow?

I've got everything else working perfectly and stable (3.5 vanilla), but the rainbow effects are distracting.

The effects show up on both Dx11 and OpenGL

Descarga la Version 3.5 r1060 a mi me va bien al 99% perfecto y no hay fallos de nieve
usa Direct3D9.

Download the Version 3.5 r1060 to my going to 99% perfect and there are no fault of snow

I just finished disc 1 and when I click on disc 2 it just shows a blank screen. I tried looking around for a fix but can't find anything.
Also the sound tends to crackle randomly(very loudly). If anyone has a fix for these problems I'd really appreciate the help. I'd hate to start over on my console(unless there is a way to transfer my save files to a SD Card).
To make it more clear, when you arrive at the Communication Tower A (after the sniper battle) It says to insert Disc 2. So I made a save right before that. Load Disc 2 then load my game. I run through the door to Communication Tower A and it freezes at the title. Just says "Communication Tower A" cannot get passed that screen. The audio also goes crazy as in lots off static or something happens(very loud). I'd really appreciate the help.

When it says to insert disc 2, use the "Change disc" command from the File menu. Also check that you don't have a bad dump of disc 2.

I have this game running near flawlessly, but there's one consistent point that it will freeze.

I'm using DSP LLE, and I have had no crashes since starting, no sound cut offs or stuttering either. Few frame drops here and there, but that's just my incessant need for graphics looking crisp.

Whenever I enter the area where the Vulcan Raven fight is, it will freeze two or three seconds after the inital cutscene. I have enough time to run a few steps, and bam, freeze. This happened the last time I tried to play through as well, before I had dumped my DSP LLE, and was using HLE so I don't believe it's a sound related issue, or I'd think more people than just me would've suffered it.

I get no error messages, and Dolphin itself doesn't freeze, just the emulation. I can still enter the config menus and such.

Would this imply I have a bad dump of disc 2 perhaps? What else can I do to troubleshoot this?

This game was played with the version 3.5 without any problem, my version is pal ...
With the latest revisions sound is almost perfect: D
Use hle in 3.5 causes crashes in this game.

Este juego lo jugue con la version 3.5 sin ningun problema, mi version es pal...
Con las ultimas revisiones es casi perfecto el sonido Big Grin
Usar hle en 3.5 provoca cuelgues en este juego.

Your profile says you are using 3.5-367. Try using the latest development version 3.5-1297 available from the download link at the top of this page as it contains some freeze fixes.

So what is the best way to get this running on the latest non-developmental build? 3.5-357 I believe it is? I have been trying and trying, I got the sound to stop skipping only to find the FPS drops drastically while playing. I have tried changing sound to lle, changing backend to Xaudio2, Limiting frames by the audio. Nothing is working, so I cam coming here for help. What else can I try? Does anyone else have it running perfectly? What version/revision and what settings? I am using the 64bit version (Non developmental) as I am on Windows 7 64bit. I am runing an Intel i5 750 quad core at 2.6Ghz, 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 6970.
