GC Memory card issues (Corrrupted)

So, I currently use Dolphin 4.0-2053, and for the last couple of days I have been playing Paper Mario TTYD. It's been a lot of fun, but last night, the game froze (I wasn't saving or anything, I just started a battle). I exited out of Dolphin, then when I came back on today, it tells me that the memory card is corrupted. Obviously I don't want to lose my data from the memory card, so from doing research, I've been trying to transfer the save file from the old memory card on to the new one (formatted). Only problem is, the old save file doesn't show up. I really hope it's not gone, but I have a feeling it might be. What am I doing wrong? Is the save file just not there anymore??? Someone please help me!! Thank you!!

P.S The image attached shows my screen when trying to transfer the save file. As you can see, memory card A has a save file, but that is the brand new one after reformatting it. Memory card B is the old memory card with my save file, but as you can see, that is all that shows up. The save file isn't there.

Old builds aren't supported by the forums. Download the latest build and it could solve your problem. The newer versions have a GC memory card manager that lets you export without doing witchcraft, idk if this is on the build you're using.

Even with the most current build (4.0-5995) I still can't seem to get it to work. It looks the same as on the picture. How would I go about exporting it "without using witchcraft?" I have a feeling that since nothing shows up when I select the memory card (in the picture, the "corrupted" memory card is slot B), it probably isn't there anymore. I just wasn't sure how it could disappear like that.

Dolphin 4.0.2 and anything released after it still is supported, so, 4.0-2053 still is supported too.

About Trojans05 problem, well, your save is probably gone and you may need to start again if it doesn't even show in Memory Card manager =/
As a future advice, you may consider using "GCI Folder" option for GC memory cards from now, this option converts your RAW memory card file into a subfolder with individual .gci files for every save file you create in your games, thus, reducing the chances of memory card corruption near zero...

EDIT: I remembered of this page, it contains a lot of save files in virtually all parts of Paper Mario TTYD, it may help you restart playing the game somewhere near your broken save file...
